Religious services were held every Sunday morning in the beautiful chapel at Happy Valley. The choir was under the direction of an experienced organist, and many of the children enjoy participating in this activity. The services were non-sectarian Protestant. Children whose parents requested other specific religious training for them were enabled to attend services of their choice in Spring Valley. Children were encouraged to say grace before meals, and their prayers at bedtime.
